Individual Classes for Kids

Teachers are extraordinarily friendly, well trained and experienced.
Materials habe been provided and seemed very useful. The leisure time activities bring students together.
I could recommend it to anyone who really wants to learn Spanish and to anyone who just wants to meet interesting people.

I find teachers at the sms school are very competent and so lovely- they are always smiling! Classes are interesting and funny. I liked the attention they gave to my 12-year-old daugheter, who didn't want to attend a foreign language class during vacation; nevertheless she started to be interested in Spanish during the second and third week of the course.

I've never taken part to the afternoon activities because I didn't like going by bus every day (too cold because of air coinditioning and too many curves) in the morning and in the afternoon, too. It would be fine to have this activities immediately after the class. The only thing I hated were the local buses called guaguas. So the location was not so confortable because my apartment was in San Eugenio.

I spent two weeks studying at SMS. In general I was satisfied with my course.


There was a friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the school, conducive to good learning and I tried to participate in all the events organized in addition to the classes.

I particularly liked my individual lessons with Vanessa as we had good chemistry and I liked her patient style of teaching.The school has good facilities and I also liked the layout and even the light colours of the classrooms. The location of the homestay was perfect as it was in the centre of town and Delly, the owner of the house made me very welcome and always provided a great healthy breakfast. The communication with the school was excellent thanks to Seila. There was a family-type atmosphere because of the small number of students. I enjoyed the quiz, literature chat and coffee group sessions, all part of the extra events. Seila provided really interesting extra information at these sessions and as a result it was a great learning experience.


Perhaps the small number of students also had a down side as it meant that there were not always other students around with whom I socialise with but this is not a criticism, it was simply a result of the low season, my lack of research, and the fact that my fellow students had families to return to. With the benefit of hindsight, I would have chosen a busier period at SMS or a larger city than Adeje. However, I tried to make up for this by travelling to the coast, and I did a very enjoyable Mount Teide excursion coastal stay during my first free weekend. Before leaving Tenerife, I visited the beautiful town of La Laguna in the north.

Sometimes in the group lesson, I felt that there was occasionally too much free conversation devoted to discussing local places so this meant that I could not always participate in chatting about those points as I did not know the island as well as the others who were resident there. The grammar points were well taught but I would have preferred a bit more attention to these grammar points, more targeted vocabulary practice and slightly less free conversation.

My husband and i attended a one week course which was very good. We had five 45 minute lessons. My only comment would be that the cost of the lessons was very expensive. Each 45 minute lesson cost £92.40 each day. I would look for a cheaper option to continue learning.

There were four teachers, and they were very good. The lessons began with introducing yourself, or telling some thing about yourself, or what you have done, and then we did some grammar.

The lessons were very pleasant and funny.

I’d really like to come again next year!

I attended a Spanish course from mid November to mid December 2023.
It is a very high quality school: all the teachers are highly skilled and professional, extremely nice and patient, willing to provide easy learning methods.
My Spanish level had improved a lot and I am absolutely glad about that.

The school location is also very good to combine studying and free time: I had my classes in the morning and in the afternoon I was free to sightseeing or going to the beach.

I absolutely recommend this school.

I would recommend this school to absolutely anyone looking to learn Spanish. The classes were extremely fun and interactive and the teachers are absolutely amazing! Super friendly and helpful and also very patient! 10/10 would recommend!

Classes were very well prepared by our teacher, relevant topics, feeling of improvement every day. The teacher was excellent and explained grammar, pronunciation any other things really well. Location is beautiful and the facilities fresh and pleasant. I did not take part in any activities outside of the school , but I saw that they organized many. I really liked everything!!! Staff working there was helpful and kind!

I was able to do the classes with Seila. I absolutely loved it! Seila is a lovely, hilarious person and time flies with her.
Whenever I will go back to Tenerife I will do another class!

The language course was very interesting and leaded on the high level .
The teacher was very a very nice person and a very competent teacher.
We have really enjoyed trhe lessons !
All employees and school management were also very friendly!
Besides the school have good equipment for leading the lessons.
The location of the school in Adeje was very good too and easily accessible from the motorway, there was also a big parking near.

Although my daughter (teenager) had to go and take lessons daily for 3 hours during our vacation (siblings got to stay home and enjoy the break) she did not complain at all after the first session. The school responds very flexibly to individual wishes and does a great job accommodating special time and group requests. Very friendly and easy going staff. In fact my daughter said we can do it next break as well
I would definitely chose it again and recommend it to others.
